Philippine Coast Guard collected over 30 sacks of garbage and planted 150 mangrove propagules in Sarangani marine clean-up drive

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Southern Mindanao conducted a coastal clean-up drive, underwater clean-up drive, and mangrove planting activity along the shoreline of Sitio Linao, Barangay Tinoto, Maasim, Sarangani on 22 October 2021. 

 A total of 30 sacks of assorted garbage were collected, while 150 mangrove propagules were planted during the said marine environmental protection initiatives. 

 

District Commander, CG Captain Rejard Marfe expressed his gratitude to the men and women of the PCG for selflessly performing the mandates of the service, specifically ensuring a clean Philippine maritime domain. (PCG)-rir
