Philippines Launches Online National Pavilion at JD.com

Philippine Ambassador to China Jose Santiago L. Sta. Romana witnessed the launch of the Philippine National Pavilion at JD.com, one of the major business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce platforms in China, on 11 October 2021 held at Embassy’s Sentro Rizal.

The national pavilion will feature Philippine food and beverage products. More products from various Philippine companies will be featured in the pavilion.

The establishment of the national pavilion at JD.com is one of the projects undertaken by the Philippine Trade and Investment Centers (PTIC) in China, the Office of the Agriculture Counsellor (OAC), and the Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) with Prestige International. Another online national pavilion at Womai.com, an online grocery platform in China, and an offline wholesale pavilion at Bairong World Trade Center in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, are planned to be launched before the end of the year.
Present at the launch were Commercial Counsellor Glenn Peñaranda, Agriculture Counsellor Ana GM Abejuela, Senior Consultant Rick Luo of Prestige International, and General Manager Yu Zhizhe of JD.com.
