Seven teachers was conferred Ulirang Guro awards by the Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino (KWF). The award was intended to honor their dedication and excellence in teaching, and outstanding efforts in using the Filipino language in their classes. Out of this year’s 139 nominees, two secondary school teachers and five college instructors were carefully selected to receive the distinction.
