PNP arrests ASG Leader in Davao City

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has arrested the leader of Abu Sayyaf Group in Davao City.

According to PNP Chief Archie Gamboa, Abduljihad Susukan was arrested in the house of former Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Chairman Nur Misuari at the Yniguez Subdivision in Maa, Davao City.

The PNP has filed the 23 warrant of arrest against Susukan. It was initially reported that Susukan has arrived in Davao City with Misuari on a private plane from Jolo, Sulu. Susukan was said to undergo a medical check-up in the city.
