PNP asks public to strictly observe health protocols in leisure areas

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police Gen. Guillermo Eleazar appealed to the public to be more responsible when visiting public and leisure areas amid the enforcement of Alert Level 3 in Metro Manila, after reports that health and safety protocols were supposedly not observed by those visiting Dolomite Beach in Manila Bay.

Eleazar reminded police personnel to observe maximum tolerance, especially to those caught violating the protocols, and advised unit commanders to have an ample number of cops deployed to public areas.

The national government downgraded Metro Manila’s alert status to Level 3 amid the decrease in COVID-19 infections. This alert level will be implemented until the end of October. (PNP) – jlo
