PNP Chief Sinas denies claims he was vaccinated

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGen. Debold Sinas denies the claim of former special envoy to China Ramon Tulfo that he was already inoculated with Sinopharm vaccine.

“Not true, If I had the vaccine I should have not infected with COVID-19 today,” said Sinas in a text message.

Sinas is currently under quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.

In his column, Tulfo said that Sinas was vaccinated last November along with him. He also claimed that the Chief PNP was vaccinated with the smuggled vaccine along with his security escorts.

“Sinas will not die of the dreaded virus infection. Sinas will survive because he got injected with Sinopharm vaccine along with this columnist in November last year,” he said.

Last December 2020, it was revealed that members of the Presidential Security Group were already vaccinated – a move which according to the Armed Forces of the Philippines was done in a bid to protect and secure President Rodrigo Duterte, the highest official of the land. –Bea Bernardo
