PNP ensures proper implementation of health protocols in NCR+

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has continuously assured the proper implementation of security and checkpoints in the National Capital Region (NCR) plus.

PNP Officer-in-Charge Police Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar disclosed that the police will still monitor the entry and exit points in Metro Manila and its neighboring provinces. It is meant to prevent the further spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) especially when the public has been complacent amidst the continuous threat of the virus.

Lt. Gen. Eleazar ordered police chiefs to coordinate with their respective local government units (LGUs) and barangays for border control points in several access roads. This is to ensure the public’s compliance with the health protocols and not hinder residents in the NCR+ bubble in any way. -PTV News
