PNP orders police to prepare for general population, minors’ vaccination

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Gen. Guillermo Eleazar on Wednesday (Sep. 29) ordered all police offices and units to prepare for the vaccination of the general population and minors in October.

Eleazar explained that the police with medical background and training will assist in the event to help the government’s vaccination campaign. This also includes the PNP Medical Reserve Force that caters to the COVID-19 patients.

Meanwhile, the PNP also offered some of its camps as vaccination sites amid the government’s preparation for the adolescents’ and general population’s COVID-19 vaccination.
