Pope Francis has expressed support for the civil union of same-sex couples Wednesday.
In his documentary entitled “Francesco” that was launched at the Rome Film Festival, Pope Francis has stated that “homosexuals have a right to be a part of the family. They’re children of God and have a right to a family”
He added that creating a civil union law for same-sex couples must be pushed so that “they are legally covered.”
