Posibleng terrorist attack sa South Cotabato, napigilan ng Philippine Army

Napigilan ng Philippine Army ang posibleng terrorist attack matapos na manutralisa ang dalawang Daulah Islamiya terrorists sa Barangay Lapu, Polomolok, South Cotabato kahapon (Enero 31).

Kinilala ni Joint Task Force Central at 6th Infantry Division Commander Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy ang dalawang nutralisadong terrorista na sina Zypol Nilong at Salahudin Usman na mga tauhan ni Zaiden Jade Nilong, alias “Aliboy” ng DI-Maguid Group.

Nasawi ang dalawa nang makasagupa ng kanilang grupo ang mga tropa ng First Scout Ranger Battalion.

Matapos ang limang-minutong bakbakan, nagsitakas ang mga nalalabing kalaban at narekober ng mga tropa ang mga inabandonang bangkay ng dalawang nasawing terrorista at dalawang M16 rifles.

Nanawagan naman si Maj. Gen. Uy sa mga nalalabing miyembro ng Daulah Islamiya na sumuko na sa pamahalaan upang mabigyan ng pagkakataon na makapag bagong buhay.  (Radyo Pilipinas)    -ag
