Building upon the momentum of an earlier trade deal inked by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during his state visit to the United Arab Emirates on January 12, officials from the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) flew to the Middle Eastern nation to conduct business with their Abu Dhabi counterparts.

In a media release on Monday, the Philippine delegation led by PRA Chairperson Alex Lopez is engaging in high-level discussions with the top officials of the National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) Business Group, with exchanges revolving around sustainable coastal and marine development.

Moreover, these talks centered on forging strategic partnerships and generating high-quality foreign investments that will drive beneficial growth for the Philippines.

This business trip is expected to ensure that domestic reclamation and coastal projects will be implemented with sustainability and inclusive economic growth in mind, paving the way for progress in the coming years.

NMDC Group is a UAE-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) conglomerate with five decades of experience in onshore and offshore initiatives that benefit marine sectors in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and across the globe.
