PRC: Magbabakuna ng Moderna vaccine sa halagang ₱3,500

Nakahanda ang Philippine Red Cross (PRC) na magbakuna ng Moderna vaccine sa halagang ₱3,500 para sa dalawang doses nito, ayon kay PRC Chariman at Senator Richard Gordon nitong Lunes (Mayo 17).

Sa isang panayam ng Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP) Forum, sinabi ni Gordon na malaking tulong ito para mapabilis ang pagbabakuna sa Pilipinas.

“The vaccine procurement was quite slow. But now they’re catching up. But before they could catch up, we have already ordered 200,000 Moderna doses, so we’re going to vaccinate 100,000 people,” sabi ni Gordon.

“The shipment will come in. We even had to pay a little bit more to bring them. We had to put another billion and a half dollars to get the 1,500 doses this June,” sabi ni Gordon.

Dagdag pa nito, “You have to put the money for the vaccines to come on time and as you can see, we are late because we cannot make up our minds on what to buy and where to spend our money.” – Ulat ni Eunice Samonte / CF-rir
