President Duterte to heed ground commanders recommendation on martial law

The palace says that President Rodrigo Duterte will pay attention to the recommendation of ground commanders on the revocation or continuation of martial law in Mindanao. Malacañang, however, cannot tell if the Chief Executive is inclined to asking Congress for the continuity of the military rule in the region. The siege carried out by Maute terrorists has caused the ongoing martial law in Mindanao.
