PRRD assures public not to worry about ATL

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has guaranteed the public that they should not worry about the newly-signed Anti-Terrorism Law. According to the Chief Executive, only terrorists must fear the law.

“For the law-abiding citizen of this country, I am addressing you with all sincerity: Huwag ho kayong matakot kung hindi ka terorista. Kung hindi mo naman sisirain ang gobyerno, pasabugin mo ang simbahan, pasabugin mo iyong public utilities, pasabugin mo iyong… Well, just to derail para matumba na tuloy ang bayan. (Don’t be scared if you are not a terrorist. If you’re not going to ruin the government, bomb the church, bomb public utilities… Well, just to derail the country.)”

The President is aware of people questioning the law but he pointed out the significance of the Anti-Terrorism Law to maintain peace in the country. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
