Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea confirmed that Pres. Duterte certified the proposed 2020 national budget as urgent. Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo says the Chief Executive wants to avoid the delay that happened with the 2019 budget which resulted to an economic slowdown and deferment of various government projects.
