BANGKOK – President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday left this Thai city, where he attended the 34th ASEAN Summit, Malacañang said.

The President’s plane took off from a Thai military base at 5:33 p.m. local time (6:33 p.m. Manila).

He was accompanied by Senator-elect Christopher Lawrence Go and some Presidential staff members.

However, Duterte will not take time off when he arrives in the Philippines.

On Monday, June 24, he will be gracing a movie premiere in a Metro Manila cinema before heading to the thanksgiving of the Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP), still in Metro Manila.

On Tuesday, June 25, Duterte will preside over the oath-taking of the newly-elected local officials and HNP Senators in Malacañang.

On Wednesday, June 26, he will be attending the 122nd anniversary of the Presidential Security Group, also in Malacañang.

Duterte is known to be a hardworking executive even when he was still Davao City mayor.

He normally stays late to sign documents and conduct meetings.
