PRRD gets highest trust, performance rating of 91%. Pulse Asia survey shows


MalacaƱang is pleased with the high trust and performance rating of President Rodrigo R. Duterte as shown by a Pulse Asia survey.

Based on the survey of Pulse Asia Research conducted on September 14 to 20, 2020 with 1,200 respondents, the President got the highest performance approval rating of 91% compared to other key government officials amidst the health crisis.

Vice President Leni Robredo has received a rating of 57%, Senate President Tito Sotto 84%, House Speaker Alan Cayetano 70%, and Supreme Court Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta 44%.

For the trust rating, President Duterte has also been given the highest trust rating of 91% while VP Robredo received a rating of 50%, Senate President Tito Sotto 79%, House Speaker Alan Cayetano 67%, and Supreme Court Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta 38%.

Aside from the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the issues included in the survey are the PhilHealth anomaly, Bayanihan 2 signing, Manila Bay Beautification Project, and the deportation of Joseph Scott Pemberton.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the survey echoes the approval of the public on the current administration’s actions. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
