President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Monday (May 24) led a meeting with local officials in Region 7.
The meeting, which took place in Silliman University in Dumaguete City, aims to guarantee peace and order in Central Visayas.
Along with Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, President Duterte assured that the government will do its best to eradicate terrorism in the country through the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
The said program encouraged rebels to return to the government.
Moreover, the President urged the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other law enforcement units to continue their campaign against illegal drugs, criminality, and corruption.
