PRRD names new DSWD Usec, Nayong Pilipino board members

MANILA — President Rodrigo R. Duterte has appointed a new Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) undersecretary and two new members of the Nayong Pilipino Foundation (NPF) Board of Trustees.

In appointment papers signed on Tuesday and released to the media on Friday, Duterte named Mark Allan Jay Yambao as DSWD undersecretary, and Michelle Aguilar-Ong and Lucille Karen Malilong-Isberto as new members of the NPF Board of Trustees.

Yambao served as vice mayor of Malabon City from 1995 to 2004. He also served as an assistant secretary at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources during the administration of former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Aguilar-Ong and Malilong-Isberto will replace and serve the unexpired terms of NPF board members Gerald Medina and Patricia Yvette Ocampo up to June 30.
