Pres. Rodrigo Duterte will visit Moscow for the second time this October upon the invitation of President Vladimir Putin. The visit is expected to strengthen ties between the Philippines and Russia. President Duterte went to Russia on May 2017 but the visit was cut short when Maute terrorists attacked Marawi City.
