PRRD warns public on dishonest online sellers

President Rodrigo R. Duterte cautioned the public against dealing with online sellers.

“Be careful, lokohan ito ngayon (ripoffs are prevalent these days)… Do not fall for that thing online.”

The Chief Executive also gave a stern warning to online sellers who take advantage of the crisis.

Meanwhile, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) advised the public to scrutinize the online seller or store before making a transaction. It also recommended buying from legit online stores and make reading comments and reviews a habit.

Unscrupulous online sellers can be reported to the DTI.
