PRRD’s white wristband a sign of ‘peace’ – Palace

Malacañang has clarified the white wristband worn by Duterte was not a medical plaster, but a sign of peace.

”It’s more symbolical of his wanting peace in the Philippines… No, it’s not a medical plaster”…Eh parang kay ano ‘yan, kay Erap, may wristband,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.

“You know, the President will tell us if he’s not feeling well, he tells us, wala ngang tinatago ‘di ba? Lahat sinasabi niya sa atin,” he added.

According to Panelo, the Palace has not been hiding information on matters concerning the health of the Chief Executive, and assures that the public has nothing to worry about.

Panelo added that it is normal to wear a wristband. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
