PSG’s statement on small fire incident transpired at Malacañang Park

A small fire incident transpired at Escortas Water Refilling Station located at the PSG Concessionaire area inside Malacañang Park. The establishment is separated and far from the main Headquarters and facilities of PSG.

The incident started at about 8:30 am today, where Malacañang Fire Station (MFS) immediately responded and declared fire out by 9:15 am.

It allegedly started from a heat gun left unplugged by the crew inside the said water refilling station while they were out for water delivery.

The prompt response of a concerned PSG personnel actually prevented any escalation of fire. Estimated cost of damage is approximately more or less PhP 3,000.00 which only covers the portion where the heat gun was plugged.

Rest assured that no personnel was harmed or injured from the said incident.
