MANILA — State-run People’s Television Network, Inc. on Monday condemned the murder last week of journalist Adam Moraleta.

In a statement sent by PTV OIC-General Manager Julieta Lacza, the network extends its condolences to the family of the slain media worker, who is a member of the National Press Club.

Lacza said while the network believes Moraleta’s murder will be resolved immediately, it clarified that the media worker is not an employee of the broadcast network.

“Moraleta used to work as an account executive for the private producers of “Tinig ng Marino”, a co-production program that airs every Sunday,” Lacza said.

The 56-year old media worker was shot by two unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen last June 6 near his residence in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City.
