PTV to go off the air on Sunday for disinfection

The People’s Television Network announced in a statement the temporary halt in its broadcast operations to give way for disinfection activities.

“On Sunday, July 19, 2020, the People’s Television Network will temporarily go off the air to disinfect the premises following a confirmed COVID-19 case among our employees. The health and safety of our media frontline workers remain our top priority,” the statement read.

The Network assured news and information will continue to be conveyed through social media platforms. 

“In addition to this, we have also put in place a Quick Response Team for any immediate and crucial news on that day to be delivered through our online channels.”

PTV will return on air on Monday, July 20.
