Public told to conserve water

Water levels in dams supplying fresh water to Metro Manila and in neighboring communities continue to go down.

According to the Hydrology Division of PAGASA, latest readings showed that the water levels of Angat Dam, Ipo Dam and Caliraya Dam all went down by 2cm against the previous measurements.

Said dams have not received enough rainfall the previous months.

With this development, Maynilad and Manila Water continue their respective rotational water interruption programs.

Meanwhile, the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) urged the public to use water more responsibly.
