QCPD celebrates 80th anniversary today

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), one of the largest police offices in Metro Manila with 5,000 policemen, celebrates its 80th anniversary at Camp Karingal today, November 25, 2019. Newly promoted policeman and QCPD spearhead Brigadier General Ronnie Montejo, National Capital Region Acting Regional Director Police Brigadier General Debold Sinas, QC Mayor Joy Belmonte, and QC Vice Mayor Gian Carlo Sotto graced the ceremony. During the event, Tomas Karingal awards were given to outstanding cops. Recognition was also made on non-government organizations that work hand in hand with the QCPD in pursuit of the police office’s mandate.
