QCPD insists it follows rules in health protocol enforcement

The Quezon City Police District clarified that it strictly adheres to protocols when apprehending health protocol violators.

QCPD Department of Public Order and Safety Head Elmo San Diego said they have selected a spacious area where they gather violators as they also observe social distancing.

San Diego reiterated Quezon City takes the implementation of policies in wearing face masks seriously, and warned that violators on the said ordinance will be fined.

“Sobrang seryoso, stringent kami at saka aggressive (Very serious. We are stringent and aggressive). Kasi we’ve been doing this for the past four months na,” San Diego said.

Around 800 individuals were apprehended by the QCPD on Wednesday, majority of whom were not wearing face masks.
