Quezon City remains PH’s wealthiest city

Quezon City, for the second straight year, remained the Philippines’ wealthiest city, according to the Commission on Audit (COA).

Based on COA’s Annual Financial Report on Local Governments, Quezon City had P451 million in assets.

Quezon City was followed by Makati, which had P238.561 billion in assets.

COA also named the following among the country’s wealthiest cities:

  • Makati P238.561 billion
  • Manila P65.252 billion
  • Pasig P51.176 billion
  • Taguig P36.116 billion
  • Cebu P33.343 billion
  • Mandaue P33.006 billion
  • Mandaluyong P31.440 billion
  • Davao P26.555 billion
  • Caloocan P23.383 billion
