Rain showers over Mindanao Thursday

MANILA — Two weather systems would bring rain showers in some parts of the country on Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting southern Mindanao would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Zamboanga peninsula, Bangsamoro, Soccsksargen and Davao region.

Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon is affecting extreme northern Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperatures in Metro Manila range from 26-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-35 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-22 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-32 degrees Celsius, and Metro Davao 24-33 degrees Celsius.
