Rain showers over most parts of PH Sunday

By Ma. Cristina Arayata – PNA News

MANILA — Most parts of the country may experience rain showers on Sunday, the weather bureau said.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the northeasterly surface windflow affecting northern and central Luzon will continue to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.

The easterlies affecting the rest of the country will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will continue to prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over northern and central Luzon, the eastern part of southern Luzon, and the Visayas. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
