MANILA — Rain showers will prevail over over most parts of the archipelago, the weather bureau said Sunday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the northeasterly surface windflow affecting Luzon will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, central Luzon, Calabarzon and Bicol.
It will also cause cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley Region and Cordillera.
The rest of the county will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, PAGASA added.
Meanwhile, strong winds will blow over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be rough.
Moderate to strong winds will prevail over the rest of Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
