Rains to continue over parts of Mindanao Saturday

MANILA, June 24 — The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting southern Mindanao will continue to bring rains over parts of the island on Saturday, the state weather bureau, PAGASA, has said.

In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms may prevail over the Caraga region, Davao, Sarangani and South Cotabato.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, on the other hand, will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, it added.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds blowing from east to southeast will prevail over the eastern part of Visayas and Mindanao, and from southeast to south over the rest of the archipelago.
