Roads near Manila North Cemetery closed for ‘Undas’

MANILA — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised that roads leading to the Manila North Cemetery would be closed to motorists during the commemoration of All Saints’and All Souls’ Day.

The following areas will be closed to motorists from midnight of November 1 to 3 a.m. of November 2, 2017:

-Stretch of Blumentritt from A. Bonifacio to P. Guevarra

-Stretch of Retiro from Dimasalang to Blumentritt Extension

-Stretch of Leonor Rivera from Cavite to Aurora

-Road closures are likewise in effect in the following areas from October 27 to November 3, 2017:

-Stretch of Aurora Boulevard from Dimasalang to Rizal Avenue

-Stretch of Dimasalang from Makiling Street to Blumentritt

-Stretch of P. Guevarra from Cavite to Pampanga

Gates of all cemeteries will be closed to motorists starting midnight of October 31, 2017.

The stretch of Craig, Simon, Felix Huertas, Sulu, Oroquieta and Metrica Streets will be allotted as parking areas for vehicles. (PNA)
