Robbery suspect in EPD most wanted list arrested

MANILA — Joint elements of the Eastern Police District (EPD) Special Operations Unit and the District Intelligence Unit one of its 10 most wanted persons who robbed graveyard shift workers in Pasig, Marikina and adjacent areas.

Sunbert Manansala, a resident of Block 16, Lot 17 Ampalaya St., Barangay Tumana, Marikina City was arrested in front of Puregold Montalban Branch, San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect victimizes students, call center agents and workers who are usually working in the wee hours of night.

Manansala was earlier found guilty of robbery hold-up which he committed against victim Justine Torzar sometime in January 2016.

He was arrested by EPD operatives by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Marikina City Regional Trial Court Branch 263 Judge Armando C. Velasco. (Benjamin Pulta/PNA)
