Roque claims PhilHealth mess whistleblowers being harassed

Atty. Harry Roque will be filing a lawsuit anew against the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) for the alleged ghost dialysis scheme with Wellmed Dialysis Center where sessions of dead patients still get funding from Philhealth. The former presidential spokesperson serves as counsel for two whistleblowers who will file corruption charges against the government corporation and another complaint against Wellmed. This is, however, impeded by the Philhealth’s refusal to furnish pertinent documents such as vouchers and checks. Roque points out that the denial presumes a breach of Data Privacy Act. Roque is now coordinating with the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to hold liable more than 30 officials of the government health insurance company
