Manila City Mayor-elect Isko Moreno Domagoso will launch an investigation into the alleged sabotage at Manila Boystown where piles of foodstuffs were found discarded and buried in a ten-feet hole.

The announcement came after Domagoso conducted a surprise inspection at 8:00 am on Monday, June 10 at Manila Boystown following a report from a concerned citizen that food supplies were buried in a hole dug inside the complex.

During the inspection, heaps of rice, sugar, coffee, noodles, oatmeal and chocolate were discovered buried inside the hole. The food supplies were already separated from their respective packaging when they were discarded.

Upon examination of the discarded packaging, Domagoso found that the food products were not yet expired.

Sabotahe ito,” he stressed.

Upon assumption of office in July, the Mayor-elect said an investigation will be immediately launched to hold officials and other personalities involved in the matter accountable.
