San Pedro Calungsod museum opens in Cebu

The Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) on Saturday, Oct. 22, announced the opening of the San Pedro Calungsod Museum in Cebu.

In a Facebook post, the Cebu Archdiocesan Shrine of Saint Pedro Calungsod invited the public to visit the museum dedicated to the second Filipino saint.

The opening of the museum also marked the first decade anniversary of Calungsod’s sainthood.

Various memorabilia of St. Pedro Calungsod during his canonization and beatification were restored and kept inside the museum including an exhibit that showcased 17 artworks portraying the life and mission of San Pedro Calungsod. –KC/gb
