As the mayor welcomed the High Court’s action, he said it will definitely facilitate the resolution of cases and decongest the existing courts, guaranteeing the speedy disposition of justice.

He expressed optimism that the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) will promptly act on the necessary funding for the newly created positions and the maintenance and operating expenses of newly created courts.

The SC also approved the creation of the positions of two RTC Judges, two Clerks of Court, two Legal Researchers, two Interpreters, eight Stenographers, two Sheriffs, four Clerks, two Process Servers and two Utility Workers to be assigned to the new courts.

It also directed the amendment of all court records to conform to the creation of the two additional RTC Branches.
