Scattered rains, thunderstorms over Palawan, Visayas due to LPA

MANILA — The Visayas and Palawan on Thursday will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the low-pressure area spotted some 370 km. south southeast of Puerto Princesa City.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a.m. forecast that moderate to strong winds, from northeast to east, will prevail over the eastern section of theVisayas, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The PAGASA report added that light to moderate winds also blowing from the northeast to east will be experienced in Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and the rest of the Visayas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be cloudy or partly cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 24-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, 23-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 15-25 degrees Celsius; Angeles City, 24-33 degrees Celsius;  Lipa City, 22-30 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu, 25-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao, 25-33 degrees Celsius.
