SEC reminds companies to provide COE for employees

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reminded companies to provide a Certificate of Employment (COE) for their employees who leave the office.

According to SEC Chairperson Emilio Aquino, an employee must always present a COE while Luzon is under Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Chairperson Aquino has advised the companies to send the list of their employees’ names leaving the office during the quarantine to the SEC’s email.

He has stressed the importance of showing the SEC-issued certification, company ID, COE, and a copy of Resolution No. 13 of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) to security personnel present in checkpoints.
