Sec. Villar tests positive for COVID-19

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar on Wednesday announced in his Facebook page that he tested positive for COVID-19.

“I regret to announce that today, July 15, I received my test result and it is positive for COVID-19,” Villar disclosed.

Villar was recently designated as one of the anti-COVID-19 czars in the country.

Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has undergone testing as he was with Villar during the contract signing for the construction of Cavitex-C5 Link Expressway last week. – PTV News
