SSS PR

The Social Security System (SSS) released the second batch of January 2021 pensions since yesterday, January 15, 2021, through the Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network (PESONet) and other checkless disbursement channels.

Pensioners covered by the said batch are those whose date of contingency is from the 16th to the last day of the month and are receiving their pensions through PESONet participating banks or e-wallets, or via cash pick-up arrangement at M Lhuillier thru DBP Cash Padala.

The said pensioners can already withdraw their January 2021 pensions.

The second batch of January 2021 pension releases covers nearly 1.12 million pensioners with combined pensions amounting to P5.19 billion. The said batch was supposed to be released tomorrow, January 16. But since it falls on a Saturday, it was released today.

On the other hand, pensioners who are still receiving their pensions through checks or non-PESONet participating banks will receive their January 2021 pensions on their date of contingency (old disbursement schedule).

For more information about the SSS’ new pension disbursement schedule, read SSS Circular No. 2020-024 and 024-b at https://bit.ly/2GiGRs6 and https://bit.ly/2I2GW3I, follow the SSS on Facebook at “Philippine Social Security System,” Instagram at “mysssph,” Twitter at “PHLSSS,” or join the SSS Viber Community at “MYSSSPH Updates.”
