Secretary Locsin Receives COVID-19 Test Kits, PCR Machine from Singapore

24 March 2020 — Today, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. received Singaporean Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho who turned over the donation of COVID-19 test kits and a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) from Singapore.

The simple turnover ceremony was joined by Health Undersecretary Mario C. Villaverde and Deputy Chief of Mission Zhou Suli.

Yesterday, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph del Mar Yap signed on behalf of Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III, the Deed of Donation for the COVID-19 test kits and one Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machine at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore.

Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Director General Constance See signed the Deed on behalf of Singapore and she was represented during the signing ceremony by MFA Country Officer Olivia Chong. The signing ceremony was witnessed by the officers of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore.
