Bong Go to run for president in 2022

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on Saturday (Nov. 13) withdrew his candidacy for the vice presidency to seek the highest position in the country in the 2022 national elections.

Go will join the presidential race under Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS).  This was after Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa withdrew his candidacy for the presidency.

Dela Rosa said his withdrawal is a “party decision” and that he is just following orders.

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio filed earlier today, through a representative, her substitution to run as vice president under Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD).
