Senate President Sotto: Anti-discrimination bill will remedy all forms of discrimination

Senate President Tito Sotto III clarified Pres. Rodrigo Duterte wants to certify the Anti-discrimination Bill as urgent instead of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression Equality (SOGIE) Bill. The former bill focuses on banning all forms of discrimination in the country and not the ones specific to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) community.
