Senator-elect Raffy Tulfo opposes bloody war on drugs

Senator-elect Raffy Tulfo reiterated on Monday, June 27, that war on drugs should not be “bloody” and should instead focus on the establishment of more rehabilitation centers.

During his Senate visit for a legislative briefing, Tulfo said that he supports President Rodrigo Duterte’s anti-narcotic drive but stressed that he does not want the war on drugs to be bloody.

“Maganda ‘yung war on drugs ni Presidente. As a matter of fact gustong-gusto ko ‘yun… I’m sure i-a-adop ‘yan ng susunod na administrasyon ni Pangulong BBM [Bongbong Marcos],” he said.

“Pero kung ako ang tatanungin, siguro dagdagan ang rehabilitation centers to [rehabilitate] ang mga adik,” he added. – With reports from Eunice Samonte/KC-ag
