Senator-elect Robin Padilla attended a special session briefing with the chamber’s legislative department on Tuesday, June 14.

Padilla requested a special session while the actual orientation is set on June 28, which will be attended by other incoming senators.

According to Padilla, the requested briefing is part of a 3-day program he took at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).

The 3-day program will brief the incoming senator about the economy, foreign policy, and other topics related to the legislature.

Nandiyan ‘yung mga abogadong mag-ga-guide sa atin,” he said.

Padilla got the highest number of votes in the 2022 senatorial race with 26.6 million votes. – gb
