Sinas vows justice for Annayo

PNP Chief, Police General Debold M Sinas assured the orphaned family of the late Police Lt Col Walter Annayo of a speedy investigation into the ambush-slay of the former Jolo Chief of Police.

Sinas motored to Baguio City last night to pay last respects to the deceased, and told his widow, Alma, that he already tasked tje Criminal Investigation and Detection Group to step into the case and assist the local police investigators to ensuring that justice for PLTCol Annayo is served. He also informed Mrs Annayo of the progress of investigation being conducted by Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

The Chief PNP also extended financial assistance to the Annayo family and assured expeditious release of all death benefits due the deceased officer.

Annayo was erstwhile Chief of Police of Jolo Municipal Police Station. He left behind a wife and two young children.
