Southwest monsoon to bring light to moderate rain

MANILA—The southwest monsoon affecting most parts of the country would bring scattered rains Wednesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a.m. forecast that Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, western Visayas, eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao would experience cloudy to cloudy skies, scattered rains, and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.

Isolated rain showers is also expected in Metro Manila, the regions of Calabarzon, Bicol, Mimaropa, and the rest of Mindanao.

Temperature in Manila ranges from 26-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 25-34 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-24 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 24-31 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 22-28 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-32 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 25-32 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
